Reduced hours of operations at Ritidian due to staff shortage
The Guam National Wildlife Refuge at Ritidian is down by two employees. That's why the unit has reduced its hours of operations from seven to five days a week, according to Refuge Manager Tammy Summer.
Until the positions are filled the Ritidian Unit of the Refuge will be available to the public Wednesday through Sunday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.
This includes the two miles of trails, scheduling of tours of the various cultural sites, the Nature Center, as well as the beach areas within the boundaries of the refuge marked by the signage on the beach.
For more information on public access to the Guam Wildlife Refuge you can call the Refuge Manager at 355–5096 or 5097.
