Incoming high school seniors who are age 16 and older are encouraged to apply for the Guam Department of Education summer internship program.

Students interested in the program should submit a completed application form to or to the Office of the Superintendent, located on the 3rd Floor of the Guam Department of Education Tiyan Headquarters, Building B.

The deadline to submit applications is this Friday, June 14 at 5 p.m. Applications are available on the GDOE website and at all GDOE high schools.

The four-week program will begin on Wednesday, June 19 and ends Friday, July 19. The internship hours will be from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the GDOE central offices in Tiyan.

 The internship will expose students to different career paths to include project management, communications, and finance, among others. Students will also participate in a service learning component.

Students will earn service learning hours and up to a $500 stipend upon completion of the program.
