GCC nursing program could restart next fall

Students planning to study nursing at the Guam Community College will have to wait at least one more semester.

According to GCC's website, they voluntarily withdrew the current Certificate in Practical Nursing Program back in September.
GCC is now transitioning to pursue an Associate of Science Degree in Practical Nursing.

Officials are working to ensure students can start the new program as early as Fall 2019, though the start of nursing classes requires approval from the Guam Board of Nurse Examiners.
