More refund checks are in the mail.

The Department of Revenue and Taxation printed the checks overnight. The administration confirmed $2 million in tax refunds were sent out today.

This round covers all error free status A returns filed by February 14.

In a release, Gov. Eddie Calvo warned tax refunds and COLA payments could be delayed in the future if the legislature passes an "irresponsible budget." 

The legislature continues to work on the FY 2019 budget after failing to pass a version of it today.
