Helping homeless veterans get back on their feet, WestCare Pacific Islands makes it their mission to help Veterans find stable homes especially if there's a chance they might end up homeless. Mike Martinez, outreach specialist told KUAM News, "It's to assist those veterans that risk being homeless because they're either behind on their rent or utilities or couch surfing with a friend or family member or it could be coming from an institution such as the behavioral clinic, and Lighthouse."53
