Jamaican Grill owners honored for outstanding achievements
Several of Guam's top entrepreneurs and champions were honored for their accomplishments by the U.S. Small Business Administration during the annual awards ceremony. And taking the top honors as the Businessperson of the Year are the co-owners of Jamaican Grill, Timothy Murphy and Francis Kenney.
Murphy said, "It's an honor for us to be considered even with other people who have won the award in the past and we feel privileged, we are just so thankful that the community of Guam supports us and we try our best to give them what they want and take care of them when they come to our establishment."
Also recognized was Monica Guzman, CEO of Galaide Group; Nancy Ang Tan, assistant manager of First Net Insurance Company; Jason Miyashita, VP of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management; John, Jenny, and Jonathan Shen, corporate officers of Shen's Corporaton; Norma Castillon, program support technician of TE ESGR; Jackie Hanson, managing editor for Glimpses Publication; Eric, Paul Lynn and Katrina Cepeda, corporate officers of ERC Trading; and Michelle Pier, owner of Creative Indeed.
