Guam - Chester Carl Butler and Ignacia Bordallo Butler were honored for being pioneers in Guam's business community and for their contributions to the development of trade and commerce in Guam. Chester Butler is a co-founder of the Guam Chamber of Commerce, while Ignacia Butler was known as the "Grandlady of Business". They owned several businesses including Butler's Coca-Cola Bottling and K6LG Guam's first radio station.

Grandson Gerard Champion accepted the award on their behalf, saying, "I'll never forget the kindness in her heart, and the good that they did for our island."

Both were inducted into the Guam Business Hall of Fame in 1996, and their family business Butler, Inc. celebrates its 100-year anniversary this year.
