Guam - She's inspired hundreds of our islands girls over the years, but after serving nearly two decades as the executive director of the Guam Girl Scouts, Vickie Fish will officially retire on September 30. "I'm sad to leave, but at the same time I'm very excited for new directions it's a time for new visions and ideas and I can't wait to see the wonderful people and projects and focuses yet to come."
The Guam Girl Scouts board has created a search committee and will begin the process of hiring her replacement. Fish, a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts of the USA, was a girl scout member for five years while she was growing up in Wisconsin. She was a volunteer troop leader on Guam for three years before being appointed executive director of the Guam Girl Scouts in 1996.
