Guam - 
Good news for island veterans as the Guam Department of Public Health and the Department of Veterans Affairs Pacific Islands Health Care System will sign a Memorandum of Understanding today at Adelup. 
 
Under the MOU
 
PIHCS will use two public health examining rooms and a bathroom at the northern health community center and the southern health community center for four days each week (2 days at each community center) to provide medical care to veterans. PIHCS is providing Guam with a Rural Health Extension Care Team consisting of a Medical Doctor, a registered nurse, a Psychiatrist, a Medical Support Assistant and a Security person to provide primary and mental health care services to veterans.
