Guam - The Days Inn robbery trial draws to a close as both parties rested their case today.
Tommy Afaisen stands trial alone as his co-defendant Irvin White III is anticipated to enter a global plea deal and on Tuesday testified against Afaisen.
The duo is accused of robbing a days inn employee, stealing his car, and opening fire at police in a high speed chase through Tamuning.
Although defense made a motion for acquittal of the charges, the court denied the motion.
Closing arguments in the case against Afaisen is set for Thursday at 10am.
