Guam - United Airlines will be featuring Guam on the cover of Hemisphere - its in-flight magazine- for the month of February.


Governor Eddie Calvo said that with united servicing over 130 million passengers a year, and 11 million in February alone, this could have great effects on Guam's tourist market.  United's managing director of sales and business development based here on Guam Sam Shinohara said, "On top of being on the cover there's a nine page article being featured in the magazine entitled three perfect days in Guam we give the traveler who's never experienced the Guam destination a great feel for what it would be like if they went to it."


The cover was unveiled today at GVB and will be available on united flights beginning February 1.
