Guam - The Guam Election Commission will be welcoming two new commissioners. Governor Eddie Cavo appointed Jennifer Calvo-Quitugua and Michael Perez to serve on the commission to serve as Republican representatives based on the Republican Party of Guam's recommendation on the GEC. The term is for two years. Calvo-Quitugua is an associate with Calvo Fisher and Jacob's Guam office and had served once on the GEC board of directors. Perez is currently a staff assistant at the Governor's Office. The two will replace commissioners Joe Mesa and Martha Ruth whose terms recently expired. The GEC will meet Thursday evening to introduce the two new appointed members.
