Guam - A new year brings on new projects for Governor Eddie Calvo's second term at Adelup. In his weekly address, the governor says the past four years were filled with consistent improvements in our economy and bond ratings. And with the foundation they've set, he's made a handful of resolutions to move forward with other projects for 2015.
"Move forward with the Hagatna Revitalization Plan, Tear down the old Department of Administration building and begin process of reconstructing the Spanish Governor's Palasio, Cut the ribbon and get the farmer's co-op up and running and get to work on constructing the Fishermen's Co-Op in Agana, Ramp up a Work Force Education Program to decrease unemployment and get more GovGuam services online," he explained.
Calvo adds with these projects, they're also moving forward on the maternity ward at GMH along with the $100 million project to fix the schools.
