Guardsmen hold retreat ceremony

Guam - Designed to remind service members of the honor which they hold as well as to remember sacrifices that have been made for our island and our country the Guam National Guard Sunday afternoon conducted a retreat ceremony. It signaled the end of the official duty day and a dedication to the importance of the flag and country that it represents.
In addition to recognizing selected outstanding airmen and soldiers, the Guard acknowledged community leaders who have supported them and made a positive difference in the lives of their members and families.
