Guam - More and more information continues to be uncovered about a woman arrested for allegedly assaulting a baby in the face on New Year's Day at the Micronesia Mall. Yu Hua Han is believed to be the woman caught on surveillance video at the mall arcade punching a 10-month-old baby in the face. After her family and KUAM released the video on social media, less than 24 hours she was located and arrested. But after her arrest another victim came forward confirming Han was the same woman that stabbed her baby outside of Lone Star Steakhouse in 2009, Han also stabbed her husband who was trying to stop the attack. It appears however that case may have been expunged because the Court could not confirm or deny the availability of records related to it. KUAM News meanwhile also obtained records from the Department of Corrections that show she was arrested in 2008 for assault and terrorizing but was released.
KUAM has now obtained court documents that show former Governor Felix Camacho in May 2007 filed a complaint against Han. Han is accused of appearing at Adelup demanding to speak with the Governor. Court documents state she made loud and abrupt comments that she was “hearing voices in her head telling her to kill Governor Camacho”. That apparently wasn't even the first time she threatened the Governor either, as he told police she has made previous threats to kill him and his daughter in the past. In June of that same year the Attorney General's office moved for the case to be dismissed. The motion and order for dismissal was signed by Presiding Judge Alberto Lamorena.
This past Saturday Han was back in court where she was formally charged with Assault and Child Abuse both as misdemeanors. She is scheduled to be arraigned on January 14th.
