Guam - Over 2,000 students will be screened for tuberculosis later this month.
According to TB Control Program acting supervisor Alice Manalo, Public Health is working with the Department of Education to notify the affected students.
As we've been reporting, an active case of TB was confirmed on a school bus driver who catered to northern schools. Although the driver passed away last month, it was noted she had existing medical conditions.
Superior Court of Guam Grand Jury Panel "D" since December 2014 and former grand jurors who served in Panel "X" from April through November 2014 will also be contacted by the jury commissioner and require TB screenings.
As for Public Works employees, over 50 individuals require TG screenings and their dates have already been set.
