Guam - According to Congresswoman Madeleine Z. Bordallo a report issued recently by the Center for Strategic and International Studies or CSIS underscores the importance of the need for Congress to continue to fund military construction projects in Guam and the Asia Pacific Region. The CSIS report is titled Pivot 2.0: How the Administration and Congress Can Work Together to Sustain American Engagement in Asia to 2016.According to Bordallo the report builds on the progress that Guam has made in the most recent defense authorization bill to support the rebalance strategy and get the build–up back on track. She commends the CSIS for their work to maintain bipartisan support for the rebalance and look forward to working with her colleagues to continue this support during the 114thCongress.
