United flight to Manila forced to turn around

Guam - KUAM News has learned United Airlines Flight 183 had to turn around and fly back to Guam.

Last night. According to GIAA spokesperson Rolenda Faasumalie the Boeing 737-800 aircraft departed Guam enroute to Manila at 815 in the evening but an hour and a half later notification was received by GIAA ramp control that they were experiencing problems with their right engine prompting the aircraft to return. As a result emergency response crews were activated to include airport police and air craft rescue and fire units. UA 183 landed without incident carrying 146 passengers.
