Woman, 46, charged with child abuse after toddler wanders off

Guam - A 46-year- old woman was arrested this morning charged with child abuse. Sindia Bualuay was supposed to be watching a 2-year old, but instead the child was found walking in Mangilao. A resident from Sagua Bunito found the toddler at around 8:30 this morning. The resident went door to door to try and find a relative but was unsuccessful. He then took the child to the mayors office where police were called. When police were canvassing the area, a motorist passing by recognized the child and informed the officers as to where family members could be located. Bualay was booked and released, while the toddler was reunited with his mother.
