Guam - With the hike in the minimum wage on Guam set to go into effect on New Years, Bill 376 was signed into law.


The legislation was introduced by Senator Aline Yamashita.


"This would require the Department of Labor to issue a bid for a study to show what the impact is of our minimum wage hike in January," she said.


According to Yamashita the findings of the study would justify future efforts to further raise the minimum wage in Guam.
