Guam - Glenn Leon Guerrero will be taking over the Director of the Department of Public Works, when current Director Carl Dominguez leaves the position on December 31st. Leon Guerrero ran recently ran for a seat in the 33rd Guam Legislature, but was unsuccessful. He has extensive experience in the public and private sector. Leon Guerrero is a former Administrator for the Guam Economic Development Authority, General Manager for the Port Authority of Guam, and former Executive Director of the Guam Election Commission. He also served a stint as the Vice President of Operations for Shell Guam. According to Governor Eddie Calvo his knowledge and experience will help see DPW through this important time while ensuring critical government services are carried out without interruption.
