Guam - A search and rescue mission for a distressed swimmer along Marbo Cave has been put on pause.
This after rescue units recovered a body along Hawaiian Rock Beach this afternoon.
It was on Sunday a hiker reportedly was swept out into the waters prompting the search and rescue mission.
According to Guam Fire Department spokesperson Lt. Ed Artero, it's unknown if the incidents are related.
Because the cause of death remains unknown, the incident has been forwarded to the island's only medical examiner Dr. Aurelio Espinola who is currently off-island and scheduled to return to Guam on Monday.
