Guam - Take Care Insurance presented a $100,000 check to the University of Guam. The money will go to support the School of Nursing and Health Sciences. Specifically it will help with the expansion of UOG's simulated laboratories for students. The lab areas give students a chance to practice nursing and health skills with models and mannequins. The school recently purchased a fully-simulated birthing simulator with a mother and infant mannequins. The lab also includes a fully simulated male patient and computer systems to support the lab.
