Man thrown from motorcycle in Umatac

Guam - According to Guam Memorial Hospital Spokesperson June Perez a man involved in a motorcycle crash along Rt. 4 in Umatac Sunday afternoon is in serious condition undergoing treatment. Guam Police Department Spokesperson officer Paul Tapao says Highway Patrol was activated and conducting an investigation.
Tapao says the incident occurred around 2:30pm near the Jose Quinata Subdivision. The cyclist was traveling west bound when he lost control, ran off the roadway, hit a tree and was thrown off his motorcycle. A witness driving by called 911. Tapao says the victim was unconscious and unresponsive. He was not wearing a helmet.
