Guam - After 40 years in the field of law and as a community advocate, Assistant Attorney General John M. Weisenberger announces his retirement.

In a ceremony held today, Weisenberger was presented with an Ancient Order of the Chamorri by Governor Eddie Calvo in addition to a resolution from members of the Guam Legislature.

Weisenberger served as the island's first ever public guardian and as interim AG in 2010 before his most recent position as deputy AG for the Civil Solicitors Division of the OAG.
