Guam - A DOE employee accused of second degree criminal sexual conduct will be removed from having contact with students. As we reported a 16-year-old girl has come forward accusing Mark Taisipic of inappropriately touching her when she was in the 5th grade. According to Department of Education superintendent Jon Fernandez Taisipic works in the Special Education Division with Rays of Hope. Fernandez says based on their standard protocol, and becoming aware of the situation with Taisipic, upon his return to duty, he will be assigning him elsewhere within the department where he will not be in contact with students. Fernandez added he will remain in this status pending a full investigation.
