Anti-gambling group concerned about Tiyan casino
by Sabrina Salas Matanane
Guam - Anti-gambling group Lina La Sin Casino has written a letter to Rev & Tax director John Camacho and Attorney General Leonardo Rapadas expressing their concerns about the casino operation in Tiyan. The Guam Liberation Historical Society is still allowing games of chance to occur in Tiyan on weekends. Mayors Council of Guam executive director Angel Sablan told KUAM that mayors are requesting to use the casino facility for their games of chance as part of their fiesta celebrations. Lina La Sin Casino is asking DRT and the AGs Office to investigate the operations in Tiyan and if necessary shut down and discontinue such illegal gambling activities.
