Guam - The state funeral is set for Tuesday morning for former senator Jess Torres who passed away last week. Along serving in the 16th Guam Legislature, Torres was also the Republican Party of Guam chairman from 2008 to 2012 and served twice as the executive manager of the Guam International Airport Authority. Speaker Judi Won Pat will be calling lawmakers into session at 7 in the morning with the state funeral set to begin at 7:30. KUAM has learned that former governor Joseph Ada will be delivering the eulogy. Torres is survived by two sons and was 72 years old.
