Guam - Over two weeks since it was sent back to committee, a roundtable meeting is set for Thursday for legislation to create a new hybrid retirement system. Bill 394 introduced by Vice Speaker B.J. Cruz and was initially crafted by the late senator Ben Pangelinan and the Government of Guam Retirement Fund.
Aside from two lengthy public hearings in the past two months, the bill was also heard during session in the committee of the whole with GGRF. The roundtable is set for tomorrow at 10 in the morning at the Guam Legislature's Public Hearing Room.
