Veterans Cemetery celebrates ribbon-cutting

Guam - Initially scheduled to be completed in February 2014 the veteran's cemetery was finally able to celebrate as 95% of the $3 million project to renovate and expand the grounds has been completed. Veteran's like Victor Pangelinan say this is a long time coming.
He told KUAM News, "This is their home it's a place of honor to show tribute to say thank you to all the men and women that gave their time and this is their home after their cycle has completed to the end."
The renovations included the realignment of 1,000 headstones, the construction of two column burials, and expansion of the cemetery grounds.
