Guam - The measure was introduced as part of his commitment to reduce spending and right-size government and today Governor Eddie Calvo signed Senator Micheal Limitiaco's Bill 411 this afternoon. The measure would transfer $75,000 saved from Limtiaco's operational budget and appropriates it to the Guam Memorial Hospital.

"Much in line with the Republican platform to focus on public safety and public health and making sure our finances are in order we're happy to appropriate those monies to GMH for this life saving equipment so that it can help perform the tasks that they need to," he said.

The freshman senator is not seeking re-election. In the meantime, Governor Calvo announced that he would be transferring $1.5 million to GMH for the 50 percent payment of the Hay retro.
