Guam - Because Monday is the All Souls Day holiday, the Guam Election Commission will conduct its test election on Sunday. Executive director Maria Pangelinan says an Election Systems & Software consultant will arrive on island this weekend for the test-run.

"What will happen, we will set up the machines, the tabulators, we will go through the zero out process which shows the tabulators are empty of any results and go through a test deck of pre-marked ballots where we know what the results will be when they get tabulated," she said.

As you recall the GEC first used its three new tabulation machines for the primary election. The event is open to the public and begins at 3pm at the UOG Calvo Fieldhouse. In the meantime, today was the last day for voters to take advantage of in-office absentee voting.
