Dept of Agriculture celebrates construction of fishing platform

Guam - A special celebration was held this afternoon for the upcoming construction of a fishing platform in Hagatna. The Department of Agriculture and the Guam Organization of Saltwater Anglers were celebrating the US Army Corps of Engineers permit to proceed with the construction. The project would construct an ADA approved access ramp and fishing platform in order to provide recreational and subsistence fishing access to the Hagatna Marina Channel. The project is expected to take about 180 days to complete.
