United launches direct Guam-Shanghai flights

Guam - United Airlines is now offering non-stop service between Guam and Shanghai, China. The inaugural flight arrived this morning at the Guam International Airport. The airlines uses Boeing 737-700/800 aircraft to operate the route.  United's managing director of business development for Asia Pacific Sam Shinohara says they are delighted to celebrate the launch of the historic Guam Shanghai service and add the route to the most comprehensive US China network.    Flight UA131 departs Guam at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesdays and Saturdays and arrives at Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 10:40 p.m. the same day. The return flight, flight UA130, departs Shanghai at 11:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Saturdays and arrives at GIAA at 5:50 a.m. the following day.
