On Sunday May 10, Joshua Borja, Stephen Latsnic, and Robby Calderon played parts in the robbery of local sports media and entertainment company Clutch Guam's studios in Hagatna. According to magistrate reports, several pieces of camera equipment amounting to about $30,000, three photographs totaling a value of $1,200, and two pairs of shoes were stolen.

The next day on May 11, upon discovery of the burglary, the owner of Clutch Guam filed a report with the Guam Police Department and took to social media to reach out to the community for any information about the incident.

As KUAM previously reported, the trio were arrested later that same day after Borja and Latsnic attempted to sell the camera equipment to MacTech Guam.

But recalling Clutch Guam's post about the burglary on social media, MacTech staff flagged the items as those stolen the night before. They asked Borja and Latsnic to return in an hour to complete the sale after inspecting the equipment, then called police who soon arrived and arrested the pair once they returned.

Upon his arrest and according to a magistrate's report, Borja stated he used a metal pry bar to pry open the door of the Clutch studio and Calderon joined him in stealing the items before driving off in Calderon's vehicle.

Calderon admitted to police that he gave Borja a ride in his vehicle to Clutch Guam on Sunday to carry out the burglary.

However, Calderon stated he got scared at the loud sound of Borja prying open Clutch Guam's door and went back to his car. He added that he then saw Borja place stolen goods in his car before dropping Borja and the stolen goods at Borja's residence.

Borja and Latsnic later returned to the Clutch studios for a second time with duffel bags and stole souvenir items and two pairs of shoes. After, Borja, Latsnic, and Calderon went to another residence where they divided the items stolen.

Unsatisfied with the distribution of the stolen items, Borja later returned to Clutch for a third time to steal more property.

Calderon was later arrested on the evening of May 11 at his residence. And upon inspection of Calderon's vehicle, they found that the Vehicle Identification Number assigned to the car's license plate did not match the car's VIN.

The car's VIN led to information that the original license plate had been previously confiscated by police. And at the time of Borja and Latsnic's arrest, officers also uncovered bags in their vehicle containing more stolen property, including credit cards and personal identification of others.

Calderon is facing charges of burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary and theft of property – all as 2nd-degree felonies -- as well as a misdemeanor for vehicle without ID. Borja is facing charges of three counts of burglary and theft of property as 2nd-degree felonies. And Latsnic faces charges of burglary and theft of property as 2nd-degree felonies.

Robby Sunga Calderon has been ordered confined at the Guam Department of Corrections, with cash bail set at $7,000. Joshua James Borja was also ordered confined at the Guam Department of Corrections, with cash bail set at $10,000. Stephen Joseph Latsnic was scheduled to appear before Magistrate Judge Johnathan Quan today at 3pm for his determination.

And Attorney General Douglas Moylan has also requested pre-trial confinement and $50,000 cash bail.

His office states the request is based on the seriousness of the alleged offenses against our business community and the need to prevent further harm to the people of Guam.

Meanwhile, much of the stolen equipment and items have been recovered.
