Guam - The Archdiocese of Agana celebrated the establishment of its new Saint John Paul the Great Archdiocesan Seminary yesterday at San Isidro Catholic Church in Malojloj. The new seminary which already has five seminarians all hailing from Guam, is named after the recently-canonized late pope who visited Guam in February 1981. The new seminary is located at the site of the former Carmelite monastery in the southern village. Students accepted in this seminary will take their philosophical and theological studies at Blessed Diego Luis De San Vitores Catholic Theological Institute for Oceania located in Yona.
