Guam - The US Naval Hospital has enlisted the help of four-legged Red Cross volunteers Millie, Shana, and Luna. They are certified pet therapy dogs who are now a part of the Naval Hospital's First Animal Assisted Therapy Program.
According to Naval Hospital PIO Jennifer Zingalie these fury friends will be at the hospital on various days of the week as pet therapy is believed to have many benefits, not only for patients but staff as well including personal and social development and an improved mental health.
