Guam - Are you ready, Guam? At 10:16am tomorrow morning, thousands are anticipated to participate in the Great Guam Shakeout, a drill that teaches you what to do when the earth starts to shake, rattle, and roll. Guam Homeland Security PIO Jenna Gaminde says over 70,000 Guam residents, most of which are school aged children, will practice how to drop, cover, and hold on.
"This is Guam's fifth year of participating," Gaminde said. "It's actually been around since 2008 and it started in southern California. We're really excited that Guam is participating. Our numbers have actually grown since last year. We had 67,000, so we really came up."
If you happen to take pics of your Great Guam Shakeout, hashtag #greatshakeout or post your photos on the Great Shakeout website and the Guam Homeland Security Facebook page.
