Guam - The Guam Environmental Protection Agency was awarded $3.1 million in federal grant assistance from the USEPA. The funds will be used to support GEPA operations for a number of ongoing environmental protection programs throughout the island, including inspections, beach and drinking water safety, permitting, and enforcement.
According to Congresswoman Madeline Bordallo "these funds will help support Guam EPA's efforts to protect our natural resources."
