Guam - Get ready to slip into your favorite pair of heels for Macy's Sixth Annual High Heel-A-Thon to benefit the Guam Chapter of the American Red Cross set to take place on Saturday, October 11th at 6am, the course is one lap around the entire Micronesia Mall. Store manager Ryan Torres explains why this event is like no other.


"It's just a half a mile around the mall, with 2 and half inch, no wedges. We're encouraging you to have fun, to come out with your nice stilettos."


According to Torres, there will be great raffle prizes and awards for various categories such as overall male and female finisher, sexiest high heel, and overall team fashionista.


"Macy's is proud to be a sponsor of this High Heel-A-Thon, that really support the community and an organization that is there for our people in need," he said.


If you would like to register, stop by the Macy's Men's or Women's Shoe Department. Early bird registration is $10 and late entry is $15. Advanced registration for a group of five is $35.
