Guam - If you need a safe place to ride out the storm, one of the northern public schools has no filled to capacity, as Machanaonao Elementary is now closed.  However you can still seek shelter at Astumbo Elementary School, Maria Ulloa Elementary School, or Wettengel Elementary School in Dededo, which has now been opened.

For residents living in Central Guam you can go to George Washington High School.

And finally for Southern Guam if you need a safe place to stay you can go to either HS Truman Elementary, and Talofofo Elementary.

Please keep in mind alcohol, weapons and illegal drugs, candles and other flammable devices are prohibited. Pets are also forbidden unless they are service animals.

We're told almost 600 people are occupying the various shelters around the island.
