GPA doesn't plan on shutting off power

Guam - The Guam Power Authority does not have any plans to shut off the island's power system, however GPA communications director Art Perez says in the event you experience any sort of outage, "If you have a backup generator I recommend that you make sure that your main power switch power is in the off position and make sure its in a well ventilated area because of the exhaust make sure it outside not inside make sure to use the operators manual on how to properly utilize it."
