Guam - It seems the Department of Administration won't be releasing the $5 million in tax refunds it said it would on Monday after all. According to Governor Eddie Calvo's Facebook page that's because, instead DOA will pay out $7.1 million. The payments will cover almost all of Status A filers for the entire month of April. According to the governor the Department of Administration is printing the checks this evening and they will be mailed on Monday. The governor who is seeking reelection points out on his Facebook page that it's a fact that in the last three years tax refunds have been paid out faster than in the past twenty years.
