Tropical depression could near Marianas by Monday

According to the latest weather bulletin from the National Weather Service if Tropical Depression 19W takes a west-northwest turn it could bring the system to the Mariana Islands by early Monday morning.

Guam - According to the latest weather bulletin from the National Weather Service if Tropical Depression 19W takes a west-northwest turn it could bring the system to the Mariana Islands by early Monday morning. Currently it is located east-northeast of Pohnpei and moving west at 12 miles per hour. The tropical depression however is expected to move west-northwest. Maximum sustained winds at this time are 35 miles per hour, but it is expected to intensify over the next few days and may be a tropical storm by late this afternoon or this evening. No watches or warnings are in effect at this time.
