Guam -
Late this afternoon chief medical examiner Dr. Aurelio Espinola told KUAM News that the death of a
three-month-old baby boy that was brought into the Guam Memorial Hospital
was determined to be child abuse by neglect.

According to Espinola, test results came back negative for any infection and he suspects the infant was malnourished weighing only 6 lbs and 4 ounces.

This information has been relayed to the Guam Police Department. As we reported the Criminal Investigation Division has been conducting an ongoing death investigation.
