Man arrested for drugs & running from police

Guam - 39-year-old Steven Gogo Root was arrested over the weekend on burglary, eluding a police officer, and drug charges.
According to Guam Police Department acting spokesperson Officer Paul Tapao, Root was seen fleeing the scene where a woman reported her car was broken into and her purse stolen.
Root lead police on a chase through Mangilao before he was pulled over. Near the car police discovered the victim's purse. Inside the car, police found a glass pipe and suspected methamphetamine. He was booked and confined.
