Guam - They were last before lawmakers back in July and this week the Guam Memorial Hospital will once again head to the Guam Legislature for another oversight hearing. The primary discussion will revolve around the status of general operations at GMH to include the Skilled Nursing Unit, the status of the hospital's finances and a report on the capital improvement projects inclusive of the Urgent Care Center. The last oversight in the summer followed a report by the Office of Public Accountability on GMH's finances that showed GMH had incurred recurring losses and negative cash flows from operations. The hearing is set for this Thursday at 12:30pm.
