Guam - Ahead of the historic direct air service starting next month, the Guam Visitors Bureau and United Airlines welcomed a handful of media representatives from China who are on Guam as part of a media familiarization tour. The group of reporters from shanghai met with Lt. Governor Ray Tenorio this morning at the GVB offices. The reporters work for the Shanghai Daily, Xinming Evening News, Travel Leisure, Travelling Scope, and Travel Plus. The media outlets have a circulation of over 100,000 to 1.2 million people. The first regularly scheduled non-stop air service from Shanghai to Guam is set to begin on October 28.
