DOJ grants Guam over $500,000

Guam - The U.S. Department of Justice has awarded Guam over a half-million dollars in federal grants Monday, $480,000 of which will go to Guam Legal Services Corporation to provide representation to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence and stalking. The remaining $46,000 goes to the Governor's Office to fund programs to support local rape crisis centers and other non-profit groups that provide services and support to victims of sexual assault.
