Guam - They are the people who help sustain our number-one industry and represent 30 percent of hotel staff. and in recognition of their professionalism and service, Governor Eddie Calvo proclaimed this week in honor of the housekeeping professionals on Guam. Pacific islands club director of service Emma Macalino explains what's in store for this week.
"Everybody just wants to show their appreciation every year we do have this housekeeping gala and it actually concludes the Housekeeping Week and there's about more than 800 housekeepers that attend and always look forward to it because there's always a lot of fun," she said.
The housekeeping gala is set for this Saturday at PIC from 6 to 11 in the evening.
